Surfside Road Bicycle Path
Explore the southern part of the island and take a trip to Surfside Beach. The Surfside Road Bicycle Path starts at the corner of Anna Drive and Surfside Road and runs parallel to Surfside Road. It will take you approximately 25-30 minutes to reach this serene beach, where you can enjoy kite flying and swimming. You can also stop in the town at a quaint café and grab a bite to eat.
Polpis Road Path
Begin when Milestone Road and Polpis Road meet and head northeast on the Polpis Road Path. Ride until you reach the shore, where you’ll be greeted by the Sankaty Lighthouse. This infamous lighthouse was moved back from an eroding cliff in October 2007 at $4 million!
Madaket Road Bicycle Path
Head to the west side of the island via the Madaket Road Bicycle Path. The bike path begins at the intersection of Massasoit Bridge Road and Madaket Road. You’ll travel along this route for 5 ½ miles until you reach the seaside area of Madaket. Complete your trip by getting delicious tacos from Madaket Millie’s and head to the beach to enjoy a spectacular sunset.
